Les modules sont fixés à la surface du terrain avec une structure en métal et en bois. Cette structure est ensuite recouverte de matériaux naturels provenant de la zone environnante pour créer un aspect naturel, comme si les modules y avaient grandi. Ils fournissent des informations sur la zone environnante et plus le glacier est proche, plus les informations sur le glacier deviennent spécifiques. Le matériau principal des modules est un mélange de polymers 100% recyclable et jusqu'à 75% recyclés. La couleur bleue semi-transparente est faite sur mesure pour ce projet et appelée «bleu glacier». Il a été conçu par Durat pour Ralston & Bau.
